Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all apps published by Moonbadger Studios ("we," "us," or "our") on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and to this website. App-specific details are listed under each app below.

The short version
- What you record stays on your device. Trips, earnings, receipts, and other things you create in our apps are stored on your device. We don't run servers that receive them, and we only see them if you choose to send them to us, for example by emailing support.
- Free versions show ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob and, possibly, other advertising partners that work through it. Their software runs inside our apps and collects information about your device and how you interact with ads, under their own privacy policies.
- We don't sell your data for money. However, some privacy laws treat letting ad partners collect data for personalized ads as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can opt out, as explained in Your choices.
- A one-time upgrade removes all ads in apps that offer one.
Information we collect
You don't need an account to use our apps, and we don't operate servers that receive the content you create in them. Data you create inside our apps (such as settings, records, photos, and saved content) is stored on your device. If you use your device's backup service, such as iCloud Backup or Google backup, that data may be included in your backup under your own account, governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies.
We receive personal information in these cases:
- When you contact us. If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include, such as screenshots or exported files.
- From Apple and Google. They provide us with reports such as downloads, sales, and crash reports. According to Apple and Google, crash and usage data comes from users who have chosen to share analytics with app developers in their device settings. These reports are generally aggregated or de-identified.
- From advertising partners. We receive aggregated reports about ad performance and earnings. These reports are not designed to identify you.
- From purchase-management services. We may use a service such as RevenueCat to verify and manage in-app purchases. If we do, it receives purchase details (such as what was bought, when, and the store transaction ID), a random app-generated user ID, and basic device information. It does not receive your trips, locations, earnings, receipts, or other app content.
Purchases
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never receive your payment card details. Apple and Google, and any purchase-management service we use (see above), may tell us that a purchase was made so the app can unlock it. See Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
Advertising
Unless an app's section below says it shows ads, it contains no advertising.
Apps that show ads use Google AdMob. AdMob may also request ads from other advertising networks on our behalf, called "mediation partners." We may add, change, or remove these partners at any time. The current list is in Advertising partners below.
The software these partners provide runs inside our apps. To show ads, measure them, prevent fraud, and (where permitted) personalize ads, they may collect:
- Device identifiers, including your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone, Advertising ID on Android) and other app or device IDs
- Your IP address, which can be used to estimate your general location
- Device and network information, such as device model, operating system, language, carrier, and connection type
- Information about the ads you see and interact with, and how you use the app's screens where ads appear
- App performance and crash data
- Location: generally an approximate location estimated from your IP address. Because some of our apps have permission to use your device's location for their own features, an advertising partner's software running in the app could access more precise location. Our apps do not provide your location to advertising partners. Each partner's use of any data it collects is governed by its own privacy policy.
Advertising partners may combine this information with data from other apps and websites to personalize ads, where you have allowed it and the law permits.
What we never give advertising partners: We do not send advertising partners your trips, GPS locations, earnings, expenses, receipts, vehicle details, or anything else you record in our apps. Based on our partners' published disclosures, their software does not access this information.
Your choices
- iPhone and iPad: the app asks permission before your advertising identifier is used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," ads are still shown but are not personalized using that identifier. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google or Privacy settings.
- Privacy settings in the app: where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland, and certain US states), the app asks for your consent or lets you opt out of personalized ads and of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. You can change your choice at any time from the app's privacy settings.
- Remove ads: buying an app's one-time upgrade removes all ads, and advertising partners are no longer used to show you ads in that app.
- Location: you can turn off location access for any of our apps in your device settings. App features that need location will stop working.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to access, correct, or delete it, to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" or of targeted advertising, to withdraw consent, and to appeal our decision on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Because the content you create in our apps stays on your device, you can view, change, or delete it in the app, or delete it all by deleting the app. Information collected by advertising partners is held by them. You can opt out using the choices above, and contact them directly to access or delete it. To make a request of us, email support@moonbadgerstudios.com. We may need to verify your request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland: where we rely on consent (such as for personalized ads), you can withdraw it at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Advertising partners may process data in the United States and other countries.
Data retention and security
Content stored on your device stays there until you delete it or the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you and for our records. Advertising partners keep data according to their own policies. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Protecting your device with a passcode helps keep your app data safe.
TrueTake
TrueTake helps delivery drivers track mileage, see their true hourly earnings, and prepare tax records. It is free to download and shows ads. A one-time purchase removes all ads and unlocks premium features.
Everything you record in TrueTake (trips, locations, earnings, expenses, receipts, state, and vehicle details) is stored on your device. We don't receive it unless you choose to send it to us, and TrueTake does not provide it to advertising partners.
Location
With your permission, TrueTake uses your device's location, including in the background while you're driving, to detect trips and measure the miles you drive. It saves each trip's date, time, distance, and start and end locations so it can build a mileage log that meets IRS record-keeping requirements. TrueTake uses location only for mileage tracking. See Advertising for how ad partners' software handles location. You can turn off location access at any time in your device settings, though automatic trip tracking will stop working.
Earnings and expenses
TrueTake stores the earnings, tips, and expenses you enter or import so it can calculate your true hourly earnings and prepare tax summaries.
Receipts (premium)
With your permission, TrueTake can use your camera or photo library so you can attach photos of receipts to your expenses. Receipt photos are saved inside the app on your device. TrueTake only accesses photos you choose.
State and vehicle
TrueTake stores the state you select and the vehicle details you enter (such as make, model, and year) to calculate costs and prepare accurate records.
Exports
When you export a mileage log, tax summary, or (with premium) a full export for your accountant, TrueTake creates the file on your device. You choose where it goes (for example, email, Files, or your tax preparer). Exports can include your trips, locations, earnings, expenses, and receipts. Once you share a file, the recipient's handling of it is outside our control.
Ads in the free version
The free version shows a banner ad and a full-screen ad after you log a gig. These are provided by Google AdMob and any mediation partners described in Advertising.
One-time upgrade
The upgrade is purchased through Apple or Google. TrueTake keeps a record on your device that you've upgraded. You can restore your purchase on a new device by signing in with the same Apple or Google account.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual trips and entries in the app. Deleting TrueTake removes the app and its stored data from your device. Your device's operating system may keep some app information, such as a record of your purchase, so it can be restored if you reinstall. Data in your device backups is managed through your Apple or Google account.
Not affiliated with DoorDash
TrueTake is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to DoorDash or any other delivery platform. It does not connect to your delivery-platform accounts.
Children's privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
This website
We don't use cookies, analytics, or advertising on this website. Our hosting and security provider (currently Cloudflare) may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security and performance, and may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability purposes.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we add features or advertising partners. We will post the updated policy here and change the effective date above. If a change materially affects how your information is handled, we will update this policy before the change takes effect.
